Anna Wintour, the editor of Vogue and artistic director of Condé Nast, works out of this office on the 28th floor of 1 World Trade Center. We photographed this space because we’re offering glimpses into rooms rarely seen by the public, where decisions are made and power is exercised. Even without people in the frame, these spaces still vibrate with a little of their owner’s energy. Anna, whose tastes affect the choices of fashion houses and retail stores alike, has owned this desk since 1986. Note the line of wear. It’s a prototype table designed by Alan Buchsbaum.
