It’s been 50 years since a rocket built in Huntsville, Alabama, sent astronauts to the moon. It's been 150 years since Wyoming granted women the right to vote. Our 52 Places Traveler, Sebastian Modak, visited both places as they prepared to celebrate. Swipe left to see his photos. The first 4 are from Huntsville. The last 4 are from Wyoming. In #Huntsville, @sebmodak visited @burrittonthemountain, home to a 19th-century living history museum. He also stopped by @rocketcenterusa, a museum chronicling the work of the nearby @nasa_marshall, where every major development in spacecraft technology took place for decades. In #Wyoming, Sebastian photographed a statue of a woman leaning on a wagon wheel; it’s titled “No Turning Back” and it honors the women who moved west to set up homesteads. Sebastian also visited @terrybisonranch, home to a hotel, a steakhouse and a whole lot of #bison. Visit the link in our profile to read more about his trips.
