Anna Konkle and Maya Erskine mined their teenage trauma to make “Pen15,” their first TV show. It was an intense experience. Set in a middle school in 2000, the @Hulu Home of Emmy-winning comedy, also created with @samuelonionman, has the pair playing lightly fictionalized versions of themselves in seventh grade, surrounded by actual 13-year-old actors. “The show is our stories and our secrets,” @annaryankonkle said. “It’s a lot of secrets,” @mayaerskine added.
