BALANCED LEGS + GLUTES 🍑🍑🍑 Apart from giving you a well shaped & toned lower body, this workout is a great way to train glute activation & reaction (a major player for achieving good balance, control & coordination of your body!)...the single leg movements in each of these exercises are a key, so move slower, but with focus & precision! 👌🏼
👉🏼 4 Rounds
• 20 x REVERSE LUNGES
Aim to step back far & wide (like you are on train tracks) and turn your upper body towards your front knee slightly for greater glute activation.
• 10 (each side) x SIDE SQUAT TO SQUAT
Keep your weight in your heels & chest up!
• 10 (each side) x SINGLE LEG RDL
As you bend at the hips, push your bottom back, keep your back straight & press down into your heel.
• 10 (each side) x FIGURE 4 HIP LIFTS
At the top of your lift, pull your belly button IN and lengthen through your lower back to switch on glute and switch of lower back muscle over-activation.
