From this meadow I had a spectacular view of the Teton Range, part of the Rocky Mountains. In this moment, the moonrise faintly illuminated the mountaintops and the bright galactic core in Scorpius and Sagittarius was standing above the peaks as the city light of Jackson, Wyoming, reflected off the clouds. The bright orange star Antares, marking the scorpion’s heart, was about to set.
