“He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.”
MATTHEW 28:6
Can you imagine that moment? It was an EVERYTHING CHANGED moment for His disciples when they heard the news. Where they thought their dreams and hopes had died, now they felt hope restored! Where they thought everything was finished, it was just getting started! It seemed like death, but it was instead it was the conquering of death!
Jesus showed His unmatchable ability to be our Conquering King! He conquered death, hell, and the grave! He can conquer those areas of death, hell, and the grave in our lives as well, if we invite Him in.
He can conquer sin. He can conquer sickness. He can conquer fears. Unbelief. Doubt. Discouragement. Depression. Anxiety.
We don’t have to live without hope and the resurrection is a powerful reminder to us that in one single moment, everything can change for us!
Invite Him in to your life, your circumstance, your situation today. Give Him access and watch Him change everything!
His presence changes everything! And in His presence everything changes!

@agent_arizona_rising you're correct. As a Christian I do not celebrate Easter. If people research the origin they'll discover Easter is another form of Eostre. The ancient European name for the same goddess worshipped by the Babylonians as Astarte or Ishtar, goddess of fertility, whose major celebration was in the spring of the year. Part of their ritual? You guessed it, people exchanged decorated eggs at the spring equinox, the beginning of their New Year. These eggs were a symbol of fertility for them, including rabbits due to their ability to produce rapidly. Easter, a pagan festival with its pagan fertility symbols, replaced the God-ordained festivals (such as Passover) that Jesus Christ, the apostles and the early Christians observed. The night before Jesus death, he commanded "Keep doing this in remembrance of me" instituting a new arrangement that replaced the Passover (The Lord's Evening Meal).

It can be both, depending on your religion. I'm a Catholic, and to me, it's the resurrection. But overtime, I've also seen the time of year and the usual symbolism of Easter to play a role in it as well. Eggs are meant to be a sign of birth, not rebirth, but a sign that something new and great is coming. This is the time where trees will grow their leaves back and bring beauty into the world. This season is meant to symbolize beauty in both people and the world coming back after such a long repression of that beauty

Deep thoughts with Angie (me) says, Remember, review, realign. And also, rebirth meditation works.. I saw my eldest son in one, when he had only been conceived the previous week. True story. And while our ego may fancy godlike attributes.... our truest selves are humbled by its miracles, reminding us to be mindful when we witness the sanctity of humanity becoming commodity.. that only some will know it's time to pick a side. Eyes wide open, but... I'd be suspicious of those who don't blink. Lol ✌?❤?

To me, Easter is just a day of recognition... but the true fact is, Because Jesus Christ has risen again, the world has an opportunity to be saved and to enter the realm of heaven not only after death, but also in your life on Earth, because he rose to the right hand side of God, having authority over Earth and Heaven. All Easter does is recognize it, but every day is a renewed day thanks to Jesus Christ.

I’d say it’s both! As Christians, we are celebrating the resurrection of Jesus from the grave (literal) but it is also a time where those who maybe don’t know Jesus or who once believed but have fallen away have the chance to resurrect, to come alive again and have their soul awaken and reborn.
Happy Easter to you! Hope it was a good day!!
