I had gone to the iconic Porties stairs in South Australia, however, I wanted to frame a different shot. It appeared it was going to be a rather dull evening due to the heavy bank of clouds, so opted originally for a long exposure shot of the U shaped bend in the river. It quickly became apparent that the light was about to pop. The composition I had wasn't going to get any of it. So I quickly jumped a fence with the camera attached to the tripod, trying not to slip as I ran down the steps for this composition.
