We are so pleased that they have acclimated well to their new habitat where they can teach people about how beautiful they are!! . Posted @withrepost • @zoomiami If you haven't seen them yet, our Dholes—Sanuk, Katsu, Yoshi and Torma—are now out on exhibit for a few hours a day! They arrived to us on November 29th from San Diego and have been getting acclimated ever since. ⁣ ⁣ Dholes, also known as Asiatic or Indian wild dogs, are very shy, high-strung, and sensitive animals that are found within a variety of habitats in Eastern and Southern Asia. They are extremely athletic and are able to make extraordinary jumps while running for very long distances and will feed on a wide variety of mammals ranging from pigs and goats to deer and buffalo.
