On the 75th anniversary of the D-Day Landings, The Duke of Cambridge joined D-Day veterans, and members of the public, at a service in Heroes’ Square at the National Memorial Arboretum, before laying a wreath at the Normandy Campaign Memorial.

D-Day exemplifies the importance of collaboration across societies and nations and demonstrates why we “Remember together”. The music is this film is “The Shores of Normandy” recorded by D-Day veteran Jim Redford. Jim served the Merchant Navy on the Empire Larch, at the age of just 15.
