ソフィア・ブッシュさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ソフィア・ブッシュInstagram)「2/2 For five days we went through everything. Extra furniture stacked where my car was meant to go, old birthday cards, photos from high school theatre, clothes that I didn’t need but someone would love, makeup, even towels. We used the garage like a workshop/processing center, and we packed up multiple carloads of donations for the LGBT center here in LA. We got through all of the paperwork and photos and kept only what was meaningful and important. We organized my clothes and shoes and swimsuits and sweaters in a way that was not only beautiful, but that I’ve managed to keep up with. When the team left, and I walked around the house, I realized that I could really breathe. That the space they’d helped me clear was space for my mind to rest, to wander, and to be creative too. I wanted to share all of this with y’all then, to talk about what a gift this was. But then the awful shooting happened in New Zealand and I couldn’t imagine talking about myself. Many terrible things continued happening, over and over again, and so I still didn’t share. I felt silly. But over the last two months I’ve realized that my home feels better than ever to me, and in no small way I owe that to Jordan’s kindness and the team’s hard work. And the fact that my closet still looks as good as when they left!? That drawers and cabinets and my garage actually still make sense!? That’s a clear sign to me that there was a better way to do things. And they showed me. And it stuck. And I’m so excited about it. I even spent the next day organizing the kitchen, wound up building pantry shelves, and got my hundreds of books into a library-level organization zone. I walked almost six miles IN MY OWN HOUSE, working! And it was pure joy! I was so inspired. Now the whole place is tight and awesome. And I guess I wanted to share all of this with you to say that celebrating matters, especially when shit has felt dark out there. And if you’re holding onto things you don’t need, or your life feels cluttered, try to clear some space for yourself. You deserve it. And if you wind up hiring @lifeinjeneral to help you sort it all out, you’re WELCOME. #NotAnAd #ButHonestlyIWouldDoOneForThem #ILoveThemSoMuch」6月7日 10時35分 - sophiabush
