“Candele (Candles)” by Michelangelo Pistoletto was originally created for the historic three-day “Arte povera piu azioni povere” art event in 1968 in Amalfi, Italy. Lit for the opening night, this work of simple means evidenced the passing of time while performing a game of dancing light meant to change its surrounding environment. On view now in “Arte Povera: Homage to Amalfi ’68” until July 7.
