I first met @christianlealiifano after a he stepped me in a game at the National Championships in 2005. Later in the year we played together for the Australian Schoolboys. It has been a privilege to call him a friend over the years and watch him become the man he is today.

Bruz is an amazing footballer but he's an even better person. Watching the way he can make people feel at ease and how he welcomes people into his family is a real lesson in generosity. He's taught me so much about how to enjoy myself, how to love the people around me and how to really live.

I would love to be running out alongside him on Saturday night. But whether or not we get to play alongside each other again, he'll always be my brother.
