Yep, still probably takes an hour. 2️⃣ Everyone wears black, it’s like the London uniform. But similarly you can wear a rainbow jumpsuit and nobody will bat an eyelid 🌈 3️⃣ Pret is EVERYWHERE. There’s sometimes two on one street. 4️⃣ The default walking speed is fast. Strolling doesn’t exist here. 5️⃣ Rush hour involves sweaty armpits, invaded personal space and anger at backpacks or heaven forbid, a suitcase. 6️⃣ DON’T CHANGE AT BANK STATION. Unless you want a workout. 7️⃣ City mapper becomes your bible. 8️⃣ You’ll pay the price of a small car for a gin & tonic. Want a double? Better sell your kidney 💰 9️⃣ You get categorised by where you live. East London? A bit hipster. West London? You’re posh. 🔟 It isn’t like the countryside, people don’t smile at each other.
