I’ve just celebrated the 100 days for my baby girl a few weeks ago. She was sleeping throughout the whole time.. 😅
Will be sharing more about it on Story.

In Japan we call it the ‘Okuizome’ which means first meal.
・
Okuizome is one of the traditional celebration events for Japanese babies which we do on the 100th day after the baby’s birth.
・
It is a tradition that babies are made to pretend to eat their first meal to wish they will never go without food throughout their life.
・
I wore a kimono which was used to be my grandmother that’s passed on to my mother and now me.
・
The baby kimono that she’s wearing used to be mine which I wore on my 100 days. 40 years later... little did I know that my own daughter will be wearing the same kimono.
