“When I see the smile of a child who is getting better, I know that I will continue, despite all the difficulties,” says Asma’a, a community health worker in Al-Arq, Yemen. Asma’a lives on top of a mountain and walks for several hours every day to reach families in nearby villages. There are currently more than 1,800 UNICEF-supported community health workers in Yemen like Asma’a, providing remote communities with lifesaving immunization, maternal health and nutrition services. @unicef_yemen
