Massive lightning strike outside the restaurant last night as waiters scrambled to clear glass from the tables. Sadly there have been reports of at least five deaths in the region. We luckily viewed the storm as an awesome spectacle but falling trees & electrical wires caused these fatalities in the surrounding area.

portia_geneoa I have been looking at the news and the damage. My word, it was bad. My prayers go out to all those effected by the storm especially to the families of those who were killed. 2 of the victims were children. ????

laurag4th Oh my goodness, bless their souls. Praying for their families. It's sad and amazing how something so beautiful from some can also be something so terrible and heartbreaking for others. Life's little twists and turns.
