Training for our objective includes an emphasis on endurance (cardiovascular and climbing-specific), and also power because it includes a 5.14 roof pitch through 80+ degree temps and high humidity. My favorite part of training is simply climbing outside; however, gym work can provide precise metrics and enables the use of specific exercises to improve outdoor performance.
