This years shopping schedule is horrible. Ambassadors and icons shopping first??? It’s unfair enough that you used to only let card members shop first. Now you have all these different categories you must fall into before being allowed to purchase items. So I have to be high class and rich to have a chance of purchasing your merchandise? I’ve been a cardholder and customer for 5 years and I am disgusted at how discriminating this company has become. I placed an order this morning 10 minutes after the early access started but your rich ambassadors and “icons” purchased everything and I am unable to get some of these items now. You can sit here and send me a reply saying your inventory will be restocked the 19th blah blah but everyone that has shopped this sale knows that half of your items will unfortunately never come back in stock. Thank you Nordstrom for truly caring about ALL of your customers “EQUALLY”. ??

@nordstrom this is disappointing. It should not be the customers job to check the site for restock and reorder. The order should be fulfilled immediately once stock is available. I couldn’t be more disappointed in the way Nordstrom executed the sale this year! I ordered these snake skin booties within 5 minutes of the sale launching to card holders. I received an email today saying they were cancelled from my order due to no stock. They let all bloggers and influencers purchase to “influence” the customer, but then we can’t even get the product, not even purchasing as fast as I could! a#Again, you should not be restocking the website and instead fulfilling cancelled orders with what your loyal cardholders purchased in the first place! This is exactly how you lose business. Customer service above all else.

How is it that things are sold out yet there are items that will be restocked. Over half of my order has been canceled and to be honest as a cardholder, it’s not fair that y’all didn’t have your ducks in a row. Especially as big of a corporation as you all are. Super disappointed in Nordstrom the last several years. What’s crazy is how all the “influencers” received all of their items yet come time for cardholders to shop, you don’t have any of the items available anymore. I get you are discussing this with your team and sending all these messages on but that doesn’t make up for how poorly this whole thing was handled nor are y’all trying to make it right and the customer service reps are being so rude. #dobetter #nsalefail #makeitright

I remember my first anniversary sale and how special it was but now you’ve really messed up. From restricting cdns to the USA access (I live in a border city that’s like 40 mins from Nordstrom vs driving 4-5 hours to the closest cdn store) to now all these status tiers. I get that the company’s endgame is make money and hence going with the future of bloggers/icons whatever you wanna call it but in turn you’ve pissed off a lot of LONG time customers. Also the catalog selection gets worse every year and now I can’t even look at a preview online. Things to consider for next year. I hope the company is actually reading these comments. It’s literally your clientele speaking out on why the company might fail.

What a terrible experience. I compiled a list of items I wanted in advance-went online (on a desktop so I was even faster) as the sale started and checked out. 4 times were cancelled right after and 4 more 7 hours later. So there is basically no stock and no advantage to loyal cardholders. I have never experienced this in terms of the sale and am extremely disappointed. Then, you give priority when you restock items to customers who happen to refresh the internet at the right time instead of customers who already had items in their cart and cancelled. Who has time to sit and refresh their computer all day. I’ve already wasted all the time I have allotted for this sale with nothing to show for it.

@nordstrom hi! I had placed an order about 12pm CST on 7/12 and had the delayed confirmation issue and didn’t get the confirmation until 5 hours later. I did have a chat conversation that day. Now today, a week later, I have a cancelled item. I placed an order within 30 minutes of the sale going live, watched the item to make sure it stayed in stock throughout the day and it seemed to. I understand inventory and the computer don’t always work at the same speed, but I’m confused as to how it could take several days to cancel when I placed my order so quickly and it showed as in stock all day on the first day of early access. Please advise, thanks!
