Officials say a total of 83 shipping containers filled with plastic waste, but labeled as "recyclable products," were found at the port of Sihanoukville. The customs ministry is now investigating how the containers ended up in Cambodia, and the government will begin the process of sending the trash back to the US and Canada. “Cambodia is not a dustbin where foreign countries can dispose of out-of-date e-waste, and the government also opposes any import of plastic waste and lubricants to be recycled in this country," said a spokesman to the Ministry of Environment. mattisapheesh @conspiracy_empire guys... guys... hear me out here... i propose we take all the planets garbage, and we dig a really really deep hole right, and we call it the poop chute right, and we dig it deep enough to get to the big gooey ball of fire and death at the middle of the earth, and we just throw all the trash down the poop shoot and cover up the hole with a whole mess of twigs n shit. Problem solved no more garbage, and on the plus side, we get a free hole to chuck old uneccesary stuff in like pennies and VHS Tapes of irreplaceable treasured memories and like old legos that you keep stepping on.

meryamichanti That why recycling is not the solution, we should act like old days, we have own cups and bottles, to refill, water, coffee and jus, use our own bags to grocery store , it's the only get out from this disaster that treat our planet.
