When I was in Italy with @theIRC I visited a restaurant where refugees, migrants and local Italians work together and cook food from around the world. They have become family – and it was deeply inspiring to see. This is an example of what the world can look like when we come together and learn from each other. In this trip, I learned at first-hand that integration and “welcome” are what is needed now more than ever, as more people are displaced today than any other time since WWII. IRC Ambassador & actor @マンディ・パティンキン recently traveled to Palermo, the capital of Sicily in Italy with us and had the opportunity to visit ‘Molti Volti,’ a restaurant giving refugees the opportunity to thrive in their new home.
