It ended up a great plan to prepare for my next trip to Peru with some steep hike, technical climbing and a bit of altitude (2000m) which made cool temps very welcomed! With many sessions ahead of me I get to try harder routes. I started with "Pas de sapin pour Noël" and "L'arête des hirondelles", two 8bs that I did fairly quickly... all the granite climbing over the last month definitively paid off, with no acclimatation days needed. So then I put my @eb_climbing shoes in an 8c (in the middle of the 2nd picture) where it took me some perseverance to figure out the perfect beta in that highly technical vertical wall. Once it was dialed, I went for it, tried extra hard in the main crux and kept it together until I reached the anchors! "Eureka!" It was a beautiful yet painful route and I'm happy I got to perform in this style which suits me good! A nice trip in a gorgeous area, walk to waterfall, camping overnight, picking blueberries in the approach and I'm psyched we surprisingly crossed pass with my friend and one of the developer of the area: @fabiendugit.
