Hello! I browsed your website and visited two of your locations in New York City and I found some very disturbing things. It seems that almost all the employees that work in your stores fit the same character. It looks as if a large majority of your employees are under the age of twenty five. They're also mostly white, and all have similar body types. And on your website, there are only a few models who are of different ethnicity and race.
This is a real shame. The targeted audience for your clothes are teenagers or young adults, who are already being told that they have to wear makeup and trendy clothes according to magazines and models. So by your brand adding onto that level of pressure from society by basically sending a message that you have to be skinny and white in order to wear cute or trendy clothing is terrible and deeply upsetting. Your brand is one of the hottest companies among teenagers because of the different style of clothing you sell. And yet, you are losing customers as you read this because you're discriminating against women of different body types. You're not catering to any plus size women with your one size fits all sizing, which is mind boggling since it is 2019 and there have already been a few lawsuits against other clothing chains for showing the same discriminating acts. And on top of that, there have been a bunch of movements to help spread body positivity. So by your brand showing very small signs of supporting these great movements is very disappointing.
Please take these things into consideration for the next line of clothes to come as autumn approaches since I am not the only one who feels this way. As a matter of fact, if you take a quick look at YouTube, you will find a number of videos talking about how outrageous some of your decisions regarding the representation in your models or employees are.

idk why is such a bother for you guys to have various sizes? like literally there are so many girls that like this store’s style of clothes but can’t fit them because you have to be slim and have little to no curves to fit into them . honestly the one size thing is so stupid . really , you could make so much more money by making your clothes available to all girls ... & you should think about branching out your models image too not just the basic , tall , skinny , white girl w blond hair . there’s really no cons except possibly wanting to actually keep the toxic standards of ‘beauty’ alive but i mean do you lol . (also most of ur workers act so bitchy, judgmental and entitled pls rethink your ‘based on looks’ hiring mentality cause it’s obviously NOT working :) .

Literally everyone on here who is like “brandy is disgusting but I still shop there” like what the fuck. Did people stop caring about what they support??? I used to shop their and when I realized how shitty they are I just started shopping at other places that sell almost the SAME things but they actually have sizes lol. Like if you think a store is disgusting don’t shop there you’re literally supporting people who think girls should be tall skinny gorgeous, who treat workers like crap, don’t promote body positivity, and are overall just not good people in general. If you don’t want to support brandys ideology but still want cute clothes shop at pac sun shop at American eagle thrift whatever there are tons of places and options. Where the hell are ur morals??

@harmonyrosebaker11111 it’s because of how they market they don’t market as a petite store they market as a one size fits all or in other words if you don’t fit you’re not right. And that ideology of one size fits all can affect smaller people too. Also they have shitty ethics (diversity body image how they treat workers). Also if it was a petite store they wouldn’t have to discriminate against larger sized people and could still prompt the idea of living your body. I really like Brady’s clothes and many things fit me but stopped buying them bc I don’t want to support a company who doesn’t support people who don’t fit a perfect standard :/

If you guys want to be a petite store, that’s fine. Topshop has a petite section and no one complains because no one is lying there. By saying your clothes are one size fits ALL, you’re lying, period. Not everyone is a size 2 and you’re basically saying that everyone who isn’t is abnormal. On top of that, your brand and your stores are still racist. I’ve been followed around in a store and every ethnic girl I know has had experienced something similar. You guys don’t even design your own clothes so I’d rather not spend $30 on something I can get at my local thrift store, sorry ://

@melia.kxo hi there! The problem with Brandy is that plus-size clothing options aren't as widely accessible as their smaller counterparts. When you have a store that only serves to the people who are 5'5 and a size small, it's simply unnecessary as there's plenty of options for people that size. I think that everyone should be able to have cute clothing in their respective size! That being said, the easiest way to solve that problem is by having large companies cater to people of all sizes, like brandy, forever 21, and h&m. Have a nice day!
