lstratte Love this account! A few random questions about the dogs’ life - outside of work and at work: Do they usually live with the same handler for their career? How long is their career (usually)? Do the handlers usually keep them when they (the dogs) retire? Can they act like a normal dog when they are at home (if the handler has kids can they play with the dog, etc)? What are their work hours (how long is their shift, how many days per week, how much vacation time, etc). OK- more than a few questions - maybe it’s worth doing a whole post to answer?
