Of course everything was much smoother when Dave came to handle... you know some people that just speak to animals in a whole different language, that have that magical energy that immediately calms them??? That is a Dave.... he was swamped trying to get the deck finished, the water tank connected, deal with some lame ass contractors (who threw cigarette butts everywhere!!) - finish the inside of the center, and save the world... so I managed the Photoshoots today.... but they didn’t seem to go as they usually do... Viktor was a bit more hyper... wanting to explore.... so, I interrupted Dave from the very needed job of working on the deck.... and the entire energy changed... Viktor was like- oh- you wanted me to sit on he bench, cuddle with the cut kids?? Got it!!!! . I wish so much we could find ethical contractors (is that an oxymoron) to get us where we need to be for the Grand Opening.... but I am exhausted from being played by the broken promises, lies and lack of ethics we have so often experienced trying to build the center...so instead of working on our programs and educational material, Dave is doing it all...
