Ilana Wilesさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Ilana WilesInstagram)「I'm really excited to partner with Box Tops for Education to help start this school year off right! #BoxTopsPartner Since the @btfe program launched in 1996, over 70,000 schools have collectively earned more than $913 million through a joint effort by parents, students, teachers and Box Tops Coordinators to clip the tops of participating products (like General Mills Cheerios, Annie's Cheddar Bunnies and Nature Valley granola bars) and apply the cash earned towards school funds. This year, #BoxTops is moving to a digital platform and are hoping their new app makes it even easier for schools to accrue funds. The new app also means that long distance family members can pitch in, and if you have a well funded district, you can use your Box Tops to benefit any school you want in the country. I asked the members of the Remarkably Average Parents facebook group to make a case for their schools to garner extra support. I listed a few of those schools on my blog for your consideration, like Kenwood Elementary in Clawson, Michigan which is in danger of being swallowed up by a larger school district, Hinchcliffe Elementary School in Ofallon, Illinois which is trying to raise money for a playground update and Regency Place Elementary in San Antonio TX which needs better access to books.
