Don’t miss the last days to see ‘Where Were You at Night’, a group exhibition of textile, ceramic and intricate works on view at @sothebys_s2_london.

Open until the 19 September, the show features pieces by artists including Olga de Amaral, Gordon Baldwin, Kim Lim, Françoise Grossen and Leonardo Drew, whose first major public art project, ‘City in the Grass’, is currently on show @madsqparknyc.

Pictured here beyond Françoise Grossen’s braided rope installation is @leonardodrewstudio monumental work titled ‘126L’. Combining natural and found objects, the artist transforms raw materials into objects that are entirely different from their original state. The materials he typically uses – cotton, timber, rope, rust and more – are symbolic of the Civil Rights struggle that foregrounded Drew’s childhood, as well as America’s industrial past.
