Objects appeared and disappeared from the stalls, where sellers gently and patiently waited for customers to approach. Sometimes a person would touch every single stone, almost in a meditative process, to find the perfect shape and the right texture. As the day went by, this woman, like a beautiful statue, stood waiting for the bargaining ceremony to start.
