You look on TV and that’s not what you see. But then you’re here. Once you walk through those doors, your life is never the same. Being able to take that story back to your community is really impactful. In order to meet the challenges we’re going to face in the coming months, years, and decades, we have to be as dynamic as the world is that we’re engaging with. And we cannot do that by being narrow in who we recruit, in who represents us, and in the viewpoints that we bring to the table. We need to summon all the strengths we have as a country.
