Ev is the brightest light, full of spirit and spunk and attitude. She’s wound tight though, and her anxious, restless soul can feel weighted, at times.

My favorite part of Frozen 2 was The Next Right Thing, a song Anna sings in a particularly hopeless moment. It’s a powerful message, but easy enough for little ones to understand when they feel overwhelmed. Naturally I cried at this point, but I love the layers this particular part of the story navigates. We say that children are “resilient” but in fact they’re simply planting seeds of lessons that they’ll someday harvest.
