So I was skipping last night and I think I favoured my left leg WAY too much and got the worst cramp in my calf!! 😅⁣⁣

Does anyone here suffer from cramps ? Do you find it’s DURING your workout, after your workout or late at night in bed? When I was pregnant, I would get them almost EVERY night! I gave birth and everything went away haha. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
My tips for reducing cramps are:⁣⁣
⁣⁣
✅ Drink LOTS of water, you might be cramping because you're dehydrated ⁣⁣
✅ Do a warm up and cool down before your workouts⁣⁣
✅ Add some foam rolling workouts to your weekly routine (find them under "Recovery" in the @SWEAT app)⁣⁣
✅Try taking some magnesium powder before bed ⁣⁣
✅ Have an electrolyte drink (if you like the taste) ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
If you get a cramp while you're working out, you can try:⁣⁣
⁣⁣
✅ Gently stretching the muscle AGAINST the way that it's cramping. ⁣⁣
✅ Taking a break from the pace of your workout and resting until the cramp stops⁣⁣
✅ If it’s not too painful, give the muscle that’s cramping a massage. That can help to relax the area.⁣⁣
