She was placed with us thru a non-profit Keepers of the Bond, that we have done lots of singer rescues with!!! These people are special and when they asked if we could take LB, we said sure thing!! Her sister and brother are currently living at @wildspiritwolfsanctuary - because in this non-profit animal rescue world, #ittakesavillage . LB is a tiny little fox. She is super petite, but FULL of sass!!! A true American Girl! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 If you have been to one of our #private #fox #encounters, you didn’t meet LB.... as she becomes very fearful around new people, new things, and, well, sometimes just a soft summer breeze. She has a very strong fight/flight response!!! In fact, our training session had to end because Melissa sneezed and it freaked her out so much, we couldn’t get her back!! . This is why we have the amazing #Russian #domesticated #foxes - Viktor, Mikhail and Maksa - as their temperament is very stable and do not experience the stress response that the non-domesticated foxes have. We have discussed the difference between taming and domesticated previously.... but shall cover this fascinating topic in another post today!!
