Photo by @steven_gnam | I hadn’t seen green clouds before this trip. The emerald cast on the underside of the clouds reveals the shallow bay beneath. Everything about these saltwater flats draws your eyes out to the horizon and up.
It’s fitting that the name for this UNESCO World Heritage site is Sian Ka’an, Mayan for “where the sky is born.” Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, Yucatán, Mexico.
