Photo by @paoloverzone | Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy, France. The tidal island has ancient origins, and it was first inhabited by an Irish hermit. Because of its natural defensive properties, it was used for centuries as a stronghold and safe place for pilgrims. I’ve been several times to this mysterious place and every time I felt its charm intact.
