A bathroom of our dreams, by interior designer Shannon McLaren Wilkins of @prairie_interiors. When designing this Newport Beach home for a young family of four, Wilkins found inventive ways to bring character into the 2005 spec build, which lacked personality or architectural strength. To do so, she played with materiality and texture, adding bold design moments atop the casual California aesthetic. In the master bathroom, wood floors lead up to the custom basalt shower, which features a marble seat and adjacent marble tub.
