Because of the big Tsunami and etc, more then 15,000 people died and still 2,500 are missing. The highest height of Tsunami was 16.7 meters. Can you imagine it? It’s same as 4-story building. But now, it’s totally safe traveling this area. I’ve visited Tohoku more than 30 times since this disaster, including Fukushima. There are lots of breathtaking sights because there are big difference of temperature in one year.
