Home is fundamental to ELLE Decor—a safe, secure, and beautiful home is at the core of everything we stand for. Home is also one of our most powerful tools right now. As the novel coronavirus spreads across the globe, we, as a community, can make a tremendous difference if we limit our trips outside: Work (and learn) from home if possible, shop for groceries when the stores aren’t crowded, and keep a distance of six feet or two meters from other people. Not everyone is able make these hard choices, but those who can, should. Even if you feel healthy, you can still spread the disease to others and our best hope now is to reduce the number of active cases so hospitals and healthcare providers aren’t overwhelmed. We know this won’t be easy, but if we support each other and make good decisions, we’ll be back to bars and restaurants and concerts and shops soon enough. In the meantime, we’re going to keep sharing as many images of beautiful homes as we can. May they inspire you to love your space.
