Happy Monday all! Today I’m sharing part two in the Personalizing Your Vagabond Notebook series using the NWF VN Pocket. The Vagabond Notebook collection is a co-design project between @franklinchristoph and myself (link in my bio for more details). So far I’ve shown how to draw on the waxed canvas version of the VN and today I am excited to share that the NWF (natural wood fiber) VNs work really well with iron-on patches!! In this time lapsed tutorial, I’m using the NWF Dark Brown Vagabond Pocket and patches that I ordered from @frogandtoadpress. I probably will do another video soon on adhering multiple patches (on the outer and inner side of the cover) on the regular NWF VN size too.

To adhere the patch, I used an iron and piece of cotton cloth to put atop the patch and VN cover. Please note that a little staining might occur on the cotton cloth so I recommend finding scrap cloth or an old tshirt to use for this. It takes about 5-10 minutes of ironing for the patch to completely adhere. Pretty easy and a quick way to spruce up and make the VN more your own style!
