Materials: T-shirt, Scissors, Beads (optional)
1️⃣ Lay your t-shirt flat. Cut off the bottom seam, the neck band, and the sleeves.
2️⃣ Cut ¾”″ wide strips along the bottom of the shirt, approximately 8″ long to create a fringe look.
3️⃣ Pull each of the strips down one at a time. This will allow them to begin to curl on themselves, giving them a fun shape.
4️⃣ Tie the matching front and back strips together using double knots to close the bottom of the bag. Optional: Add beads to each strip and knot again.
5️⃣ Cut the top of the shoulders so that you now have 4 straps to work with.
6️⃣ Tie the left front shoulder to the right front shoulder. Tie the left back shoulder to the right back shoulder.
7️⃣ Show off your new tote!
