トレーシー・キスさんのインスタグラム写真 - (トレーシー・キスInstagram)「Rate my co-ord out of 10 for me please my darlings? 🧡 I had a dream last night that the world was how it used to be, that I woke up and ran through my day just as before - breakfast, school runs, hitting the gym, going shopping, doing some work, seeing friends and family and getting dressed up to go for dinner. It seemed so real and familiar that I almost forgot where I was when I woke up. Stepping outside to see the streets empty, witness the world in silence, the familiar faces I’m used to all being absent and the routine I once thrived on now non-existent I thought to myself “this feels like a bad dream” everything I knew and loved is gone and may or may not ever come back again. This goes to show that the everyday things and insignificant moments that happen throughout life actually mean far more to us than anything in the world. We all picture fast cars and nice holidays as objects of our desire which we hope will make us happy, when in actual fact the things that truly matter are everything that money cannot buy - friendship, family, peace and happiness. The peace to feel at ease in our surroundings without fear or worry and the happiness of leading a life that we chose with those whom we love most without the removal or threat of our choice and freedom. If I hadn’t have had that dream I doubt I would have felt as shook as I do now, I had adjusted to quarantine pretty nicely seeing as I already work from home and live by myself with my children. Now I don’t know whether to mourn what was or be excited about what will be, I feel as though I’m stood on this tiny spot on such a great planet seeing chaos and destruction on the news and people hiding away in fear or crying and standing like distant zombies in the street thinking “what on Earth is going on with the world right now?” We need to make a change, we need to switch our efforts from selfishness and greed to selflessness and love.
