There has been progress, however, there’s still work to be done! Although it has taken literally over 100+ years for this to be recognized as a holiday in most states, I am positive that our nation will observe this as a true national holiday soon. I find it extremely important for America to give recognition of its past, but also provide its commitment to the future of Black citizens. Remember that “Black History” is “AMERICAN HISTORY!!!!” I wish everyone a great weekend.
