Say “hi” to the Indian bullfrog (Hoplobatrachus tigerinus)! In addition to India, this semiaquatic frog might be spotted in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Myanmar. It’s on the larger end, growing up to 7 inches (17.8 centimeters) and weighing around 1.3 pounds (0.59 kilograms). It isn’t a picky eater and snacks on a variety of critters including insects, earthworms, mice, and even small birds! During breeding season, males turn from olive green to a brighter yellow with contrasting blue vocal sacs.
