In many ways, the way we travel will forever be different. These last few weeks I have found myself attempting to be more self sufficient while on the road, carrying my own food, gas & as many supplies as I can so I don't impact small towns on the way to & from my destination. During my recent bikepacking trip to Utah we attempted to be as self-sufficient as possible while experiencing a remote part of nature that you can often only experience by foot or bike. I can’t think of a better time to research a little more and attempt to explore the more off the beaten path, less trodden places than now. Utah has always been a place that inspired solace & many early adventures since I lived there during a season when I first started shooting.
If you find yourself ready to go out and explore Utah when the time is right, I suggest researching less crowded places to visit safely & responsibly. Whether your adventures takes you to remote trails or towns there is always somewhere to explore, bring the right PPE equipment and don't forget to have fun!
* there is currently an active fire ban throughout Utah. This was shot in fire safe locations prior to burn. Please research these no-fire bans before traveling .
