It is always a joyous moment when surprises from @galen_leather arrive on my doorstep, and today’s is especially heartfelt as it is a beautiful continuation of what their founder Zeynep had envisioned and built as a legacy that still carries her dreams into the homes and hearts that these treasures find their way to. My biggest gratitude to her family, Yunus, Çağan and Yusuf for their generosity in sending these relics that I will cherish always. 🙏🏼

Today’s unboxing features one of Yunus’ childhood dreams, a leather journal much like the one his grandfather used - simple, functional, made with wonderful paper (Tomoe River) and crafted with old school techniques to paraphrase from Yunus’ words. Featuring the A5 size in Crazy Horse Brown Leather and the B6 size in Crazy Horse Forest Green. They are both so beautiful only to grow better with use and age.

Next is the exciting collaboration between @galen_leather and @kaweco.germany featuring Kaweco’s classic Sport fountain pen in a stunning Cognac color with Galen Leather’s logo engraved in gold. It’s simply gorgeous and a dream to write with. Big congrats on this collaboration!

Next is an exciting introduction to a Turkish pen company with their affordable piston filling Scrikss 419 fountain pen. The colors shown are White, Beige, Mint and Poudra. They also have several other colors available including a stunning burgundy.

And last but not least is the Three Pen Zipper Case in Crazy Horse Navy leather and perhaps one of my favorite pen cases by @galen_leather. Lightweight, durable and wonderfully crafted.
