Swipe through this 17th-century panorama of London! 👉
Wenceslaus Hollar – born #onthisday in 1607 – made this ‘Long view of London’, which is made up of six individual prints that connect to form a panorama of the city.
It stretches all the way from Whitehall on the left to the Tower of London on the right.
The etching measures 2m across, and is incredibly detailed – zoom in on our new Collection online to spot some famous London landmarks, just look out for the 🔎 on the images – link in bio.
