The JABCECC team met the transporter team, lead by @mperson321 at the pick up site ready for anything and everything. We had over 70 crates in the event he was willing to give us that many foxes!! Due to horrible Weather and traffic, it took the transport team 36 hours to arrive at destination save foxes!!! The JABCECC team was already there and ready for the pick-up when they arrived. Once the foxes arrived, we had to quickly assess them, count them, organize them, and assign them to their new forever homes!!! We had to act quickly, as a storm was coming thru and the transporter team needed to get back on the road!!! . We had 30 foxes of various ages from first year to likely 8-9 yrs old and in various conditions.... all of them rejected by the farmer and unworthy of even pelting.... their lives now saved!! Their world quickly changing for them from a world where they are nothing but used for vanity and fashion.... look at each of these photos, each of these faces.... look at their injuries, the pain in their eyes, the betrayal and despair in their soul- look at them before you ever ever consider supporting any company that sells fur or purchase fur. . These foxes will all take a long time to begin to heal, emotionally and physically. The homes, sanctuaries and center they have been placed with are amazing and welcomed them with so much love!! .
