@ニュー・ミュージアム・オブ・コンテンポラリー・アート Bedtime Story project, I did my best to read, in my broken English, the final scene of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, the graphic novel I hold dear in my soul by Hayao Miyazaki. Ignore my reading, but please, everyone! Seriously! Read this manga! It is uncannily fitting for this era we live in. He completed the serial in 1995 and I cannot but genuflect at Mr. Miyazaki’s clairvoyance. There may be some influences from Tales from Earthsea and The Lord of the Rings, but I believe this is the ultimate Japanese sci-fi fantasy.
