A private island off the coast of Ireland has sold for more than $6.3 million. The anonymous buyer did not visit the location in person before going through with the purchase, seeing it only over video first. Horse Island boasts 157 acres of land and has three beaches, seven houses and natural wildlife. Brokers and travel industry experts say that due to the coronavirus pandemic, prospective buyers and renters are showing an increased interest in escaping to an island exclusively for them.
