Today I’m organizing my watercolors and as you can see I adore the personality of palettes and tins that keep these troves safely tucked. I realized that my little handmade booklet from the @pegandawl IGTV Bookbinding Tutorials did not hold enough pages halfway in swatching my paints and suddenly a 💡 went off and I realized that the @pegandawl Mini Harper Journal would make a most wonderful companion to house and categorize a growing number of watercolor swatches. I also found the perfect use for their teeny tiny Miniature Sketchbook - a swatch booklet to fit inside a tin palette. And then the final crescendo upon discovering that a palette, the Harper journal, a beloved sketch pen and paint brush with room to spare could all neatly tuck in the Scribbler Pouch. It’s the little things. I have found that this swatch journal is a most peaceful way to wind down from a hectic day helping me slow my rhythms into a needed calm.
