Evening light and mountain lines cast their spell of wonder at Glacier National Park in #Montana. Exploring the subalpine meadows and witnessing the spectacle of #wildflowers is a memory that lasts. Those pompoms made of white flowers come from a plant called beargrass and contribute significantly to #Glacier's summer charm. Sheep, deer, #elk and #mountaingoats are known to eat beargrass while you won't see any #bears eating it. Perhaps the better-nickname for the plants would be bear pillows because bears use the leaves as denning material. Leaving the wildflowers alone not only abides by the park rules, but it means that you're making dreams come true -- for both visitors and bears.
