Homer was not in a good mood, he refused the first try for the bloodwork on his front leg so we had to make an other on his back one, he tried to bite the vet so they had to put a muzzle on him in order to do it! No wonder why he is a "red code" there 😾 So first, good news: his hyperthyroïdie is under control and his levels are back to normal! Yay! 🙆🏻‍♀️ But, that good news lead us to a bad one: He is on kidney failure, early stage 3. There are 4 stages 😟 I've asked my vet to tell me how long he can live with that. 2 years. I know it seems like a long time but, for me, it is way way way too short! I act brave because i don't want him to feel my stress but i'm very sad and i have lots of fears... I hate this!!!😥😰😭 In the same time, 2 years is an average time and Homer is everything but average so i'm sure he will exceed all the expectations! Right? Yes!!!👍🏻 I know some of you have/are dealing with this too. How is it? Do you have a special treatment? Some kind of magic tips? A miracle recipe maybe?
